An emperor as illustrious as Rajaraja. He conquered Srilankan territory. He also invaded Orissa and defeated the Pala empire. He invaded the Srivijaya empire in South East Asia. His empire extended up the entire East Coast of India from Bengal to Southern tip of India as well as parts of Sri Lanka, Maldives and Lakshadweep. He built a new capital called Gangaikonda Cholapuram and also sent embassies to China. He was a truly great and illustrious emperor.
